Notes: Lumex the parent company for Cybex originally utilized the company for the development of rehabilitation equipment. The name became recognizable and was utilized by sports teams and even boxer Muhammad Ali.

Eventually absorbing Eagle Performance systems, Trotter, and Forza the Cybex brand continued to grow. Throughout the years they have designed many versions of selectorized and plate loaded strength training equipment.

In 2016 Cybex joined other brands under the Life Fitness parent company owned by the Brunswick Corp.
